for some reason i turned on the news before heading to p.e. and was
shocked.

response = I was getting ready for school- my mom told me about it on
the news but we didn't see anything that it was a terrorist attack yet-
when I got to school they were watchin it in my homeroom and the second
plane had just hit. My uncle works in NYC and we didn't know how close
his building was. It was really scary. In classrooms where there was a
t.v. we watched it rather than have class and we had a special prayer
meeting ( I went to a small Christian school).

MO, and didn't hear about it until an hour after it happened, we then
suspended morning classes for prayer, and to watch the news (Christian

I walked in and the tv was on and everyone thiught it was an accedent
before the second plain hit.

response = I was a sophomore in high school and I was in Algebra II. I
just remember turning on the news and being so scared. Then of course
everyone was talking about how we were going to die because we live
within 30 minutes of Whiteman Airforce Base. What was weird is that on
the book for that class was the twin towers...creepy!

response = i was walking into my eighth grade homeroom and they had the
tv on and i remember that i sat my bag down behind my desk and stared
at the tv untill the first tower news started to repete itself and then
we tried to resume class period but then the sixth grade teacher came
in with a really pale face and said that the second tower was hit, and
then we watched the tv the rest of the day and every one was crying and
scared.

response = I was in 8th grade. Once it happened the facualty didnt
want us to know however we have these pre-recorded teen news shows in
study hall and after it the news came on so students found out. So i was
walking from some class to art and i passed through the multi-purpose
room thing and some kid was yelling about NYC blowing up and that it's
the end of the world. Once class started that period started they made
an anouncement about it and we watched it in every class. Halfway
through the day my mom came and picked me up as many parents did. My
neighbor is from the middle east whos a christian explained what he knew
about al-queda and the taliban. Also we believe that we saw flight 93
overhead since im from Cleveland, OH since the plane cirlced overhead a few
times, but we're not sure.
